Paul J. Ferraro is the Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Business and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, with a joint appointment in the Whiting School of Engineering and Carey Business School. He is also the Humanitas Visiting Professor of Sustainability Studies at the University of Cambridge and the Co-Director of the Center for Behavioral and Experimental Agri-environmental Research.  His research focuses on evidence-based environmental policy, with an emphasis on incorporating insights from the behavioral sciences into policy design and on estimating policy impacts on the environment and human welfare. Because this research is multi-disciplinary and applied, he collaborates with scientists and engineers from a variety of social, natural and physical science disciplines, as well as field practitioners.
