Robert Sahadevan joined Humana in January of 2013 as Enterprise Vice President of Consumer Marketing and Data Analytics.  He has established a Center of Excellence that develops and executes comprehensive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies.  
    Prior to Humana, Robert worked 13 years at United Airlines (UAL) in Chicago, where he served in finance and marketing roles. He was named President of UAL Loyalty Services and Vice President of Mileage Plus. In this dual role, Robert used member segmentation and customer life-cycle marketing  to transform United’s loyalty program into a successful customer retention program that was one of the most highly recognized in the industry. During his tenure, revenue from Mileage Plus members grew significantly and direct revenue from the sale of miles to third parties grew from $350 million to over $ 1 Billion. He also has prior experience in retail, as the Senior Vice President, CRM & Loyalty, at JC Penney Company, and started his career in consulting.
    Robert holds Master’s Degrees in Business Administration and International Relations, with a concentration in Political Economy, from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Mathematics from Boston University.
